Cimbi és Puncus között nemcsak a méretkülönbség óriási, de a természetük is nagyon eltérő. Cimbi beleteszi a fejét a tálba és ki se emeli, amíg egy nyeletnyi is van benne. Puncus szisztematikusan és nyammogva eszik. Először kiválogatja a párizsi falatokat a száraztáp közül, a ráragadt tápot szétszórja, majd akkurátusan, jobbról balra haladva feleszegeti a kiszórt szemeket. Úgy röpke fél óra alatt. Cimbi ezt tudja és türelmesen vár, hogy marad-e számára valami. Sőt, azt is érti, ha azt mondjuk "ez a Puncusé". Ráadásul Cimbi szinte bármit megeszik, Puncus viszont nagyon válogat.

Not only the size difference is enormous between Cimbi and Puncus, they have completely different characters, too. While Cimbi wolves food down (he puts his head in the bowl and does not raise it until the last drop is licked out) Puncus eats slowly and sistematically. First she selects the bites of ham or meat from among the dry dog food, she puts the eventual dry pellets sticking to the meat aside, then she collects  - from right to left - every bite. She needs about half an hour for this procedure. Cimbi knows this and waits patiently, what is more, he understand the command "this is for Puncus". On top of this, Cimbi eats almost anything while Puncus is a very picky eater.
