Panic in the park

Yesterday we went to the park quite late, after dark. We met  a few doggies and Cimbi was playing with a Benji-like mutt and was enjoying the Dolce Vita, lol, when suddenly we heard and saw fireworks... It was very close and very loud... Cimbi froze for a second not understanding what was happening, luckily, he realized my voice calling him and after a few seconds of hesitation whether to run and seek refuge in blind panic or to come to us for safety - he opted for us. We took him on the leash immediately, he wanted to break out a few times but basically he behaved much more calmly than he usually does. Nevertheless he was happy when we got back to the car.

Marci's owner was not so lucky, the dog panicked and ran away, we helped searching him for some time but the island is too large, too dark and we left after a time. Other dogs also went missing during the 2-3 minutes of the fireworks...
