Walking with chewing bone

The weather has turned warmer, the snow melted and various "treasures" like toys came to the surface in the garden.
This evening, just before we went for the evening walk, Cimbi found a pice of rawhide bone which deliciously softened up in the melting snow. He was at a loss because he wanted to chew the bone but we were already standing at the gate, waiting for him. He was chewing vehemently but the bone was too large, it would have needed more time. In the end he ran to us and we left for the walk. It wasn't until a few minutes later that we discovered that he brought  the bone along in his mouth. He however soon realized that this was not a good idea because he could not run and "read the news" with the bone in his mouth so he carefully chose a place where he hid it along our usual route. He knew that we would pass this place on the way home and he calculated that he could pick it up then... What he did not consider was that we never let him collect anything in the street and when he found his bone (he was looking for it of course) we made him leave it there.
