Still frightened

Though New Year's Eve is over, some crazy idiot still has firecrackers left and one could occasionally hear explosions over the weekend. Cimbora is so frightened that we had to skip the daily walk yesterday, he did not want to leave the house. When he panics he likes to climb on the sofa.
It is really beyond me how anybody can enjoy the terrible noise and smoke the firecrackers make...
We are lucky with Cimbi because when he is frightened in the street or in the park he immediately runs to us - unlike most dogs which tend to run away. And if we are close the car, he runs to it and jumps in and he already feels safer.
Oh, he is very much a Mummy's boy :))
