Xmas Eve

Dogs do not know what the ado about Xmas is. Cimbi did not care much about the Xmas tree for example, but he noticed weeks ago that there are toys hidden in the wardrobe and he often stopped in front of it, looking at the door then at me as if saying: can I have those toys?
We placed the toys under the tree, as it should be, and he was so happy with them, he played with both toys (actually he killed the squeaker in the pig the same afternoon) and later in the evening he started to chew on his new chewing bone, too. It was a bit un-Christmassy that I had to take it away from him after a time because too much of it  upsets his tummy.

He even shared with us some Xmas cake - not Beigli (the traditional Hungarian walnut and poppyseed cake) because after eating it for the last 45 Christmases of my life, I decided not to bake bejgli as none of us really likes it - we rather bought some fancy cheesecake dressed up for Christmas (Landseers like cheesecake, lol) in the shop. Cimbi-licious, lol.
