It seems as if a century has elapsed since the surgery ...
After the first shock things were pretty normal until the beginning of the week when Cimbi's scrotum was so swollen that his skin could not expand any further and the skin broke and started to bleed. It was fresh blood from the torn skin and not the liquid inside. He was in pain again, we got pain killers and we could not stop taking the antibiotics - which upset his stomach despite the probiotics... He always wanted to lick the seeping wound so I had to keep an eye on him all day and night because the Elisabethan collar was out of question as his right ear is on the verge of inflammation from wearign the collar in the first few days.
But everything comes to an end once and the bleeding stopped yesterday. Tomorrow we go back to the vet for removing the stitches from his eyes and his scrotum.
Despite the difficulties, Cimbi had a good appetite and - as it is obvious from the hotos - he was watching my Mom intently while she was preparing breakfast :))
