Cimby injured his paw... The big cushion of his front right paw was injured, it was not cut or bleeding but the mud which the fur between his toes collects, abraised the skin. We washed his paw carefully and applied Calendula cream on it. Funny, ge did not lick it off. He was mostly sleeping yesterday and he is not limping so bad now. We repeat the Calendula cream treatment 3 times a day but I think he also strained his muscles a little bit because he met an old friend from the basic level dog school course, a Dogo Argentino and they had such a crazy playtime yesterday - jumping, running, wrestling - that somehow I would not be surpised if he had some aching muscles.
We have an appointment with the vet on Wednesday with Bess and her foster mom, Cimby will accompany us of course, we will show his leg to Dr Mester if it does not improve.
P.S. by the evening walk Cimbi's leg mysteriously improved though by the end of the walk he was limping again a little bit.
