Kennelköhögés / Kennel cough

Őrült egy hét van mögöttünk. Bóbi a kutyaoviban összeszedett egy igen makacs kennelköhögés fertőzést, mindhárom kutyánkon végigment, Taira hamar kilábalt belőle, Bóbi még néha krahácsol, Cimbin sokára jött ki, de nagyon rosszul volt, annyira köhögött, hogy a kaja is jött föl... Szörnyű volt, rettentően aggódtunk és nem győzzük átkozni magunkat, hogy ennyire kicsi korban elvittük az oviba. Az oltások nyilvánvalóan nem védenek meg mindentől és ezt igazán tudhattuk volna ...
Tgenap voltunk kontrollon, most már túl vagyunk a nehezén, szedik az antibiotikumot, az immunerősítőt és a probiotikumot.
És a lényeg, hogy Bóbi mára 30 kiló... Elképesztő tempóban nő...
We had a crazy week. Bobi brought home some kennel cough viruses from the dog kindergarten and all our 3 dogs became sick. Taira recovered quickly, Bobi is still coughing sometimes, Cimbi resisted for long but he collapsed suddenly and he coughed and coughed so badly that he kept throwing up what he ate... It was terrible, we were very worried and damned ourselves for taking such a baby to kindergarten. Apparently, the vaccinations do not protect from everything and we should have known better.
We were at the vet yesterday again, the difficult part is over, but they still get antibiotics, immune boosters, probiotics.
And Bobi is 30 kilos... She grows at incredible speed :))

Haspókok / Chow hounds

Bóbi méltó társa Cimbinek a haspókságban. És hát mi tagadás, nagyon alfa darab, így mostanra komoly szabályok léptek életbe nálunk és a patázásért lemorgás jár, de attól még rettentő aranyos :))
Bobi also loves her tummy very much and she would eat anything. As she is an alpha dog, we have introduced special rules and pawing is not allowed, though it is so sweet :))

Ölbekutya / Lapdog

Bóbi úgy nő, mintha nyújtanák. Jelenleg a súlya 25 kiló. de attól ő még nagyon baba és szeret a gazdihoz bújni, ölben lenni, csakhogy ennek lassan fizikai akadályai vannak :))
Bobi grows like crazy. She is now 25 kilos, nevertheless she is still a puppy and loves to cuddle up. But unfortunately this will not be possible for long... She is way too big :))

Anyák-apák napja /Mother's - Father's day

Bóbikától olyan összevont anyák/apák napi ajándékot kaptunk, hogy nem felejtjük el egyhamar:))
Cimbi ébresztett hajnali 1/2 3-kor, hogy baj van, Bóbi beszart. Hát be... És el is osztotta több helyre. És bele is lépett. Meg be is pisilt. Kb. fél órát takarítottam - szellőztettem, mire normalizálódott a helyzet és visszafeküdtünk.
1/2 6-kor Bóbi jelentkezett, apja felkelt hozzá, de Bóbika nem akart kimenni. Mivel az éjszakai műszak mindig az enyém, ezért ő még nem tudta, hogy ha a kicsi nem akar kimenni, az nem feltétlenül jelenti azt, hogy nem is kell pisilnie. Mert kellett. Be is pisilt rögvest az ágyára. Na, ekkor felkeltem, úgyis végig akartam hipózni a lakást. És akkor vettem észre, hogy addigra Cimbi ágyát is összepisilte és a hálószoba elé is nyomott egy kis adag kakit... Ez volt az a pont, hogy már a párom is felkelt és segített takarítani. A takarítás akkor tekinthető megfelelő és kellő mértékűnek, amikor Cimbi hajlandó visszajönni a házba. És ő igen kritikus ellenőr, mindent alaposan végigszaglász és csak akkor jön be, ha semmi szagnyom sincs.
Kutyaágyról huzatokat le, be a mosásba, hipóval felmostunk, gőzölővel végigmentünk a lakáson, szőnyegeken utána meg a vizes takarítógéppel. Kutyaágyakat ki a napra, eukaliptusz olajjal befújtuk mindkettőt, egész délelőtt szellőztek.

Arra viszont jó volt, hogy segített eldönteni, hogy a dolgozószobában lecseréljük a parkettát laminált parkettára. Aki hajnali 3-kor próbálta már a parketta hézagjaiból fogpiszkálóval a kakit kitakarítani, az megérti a döntésemet...

Cimbi woke me up at 2.30 in the morning because Bobi  went potty . Well, indeed, she did... And she distributed it at a several places. And stepped into it. And she also peed on the small carpet in the study... I cleaned and aired for about half an hour until things were more or less back to normal and I went back to bed.
At 5.30 it was Bobi who woke us up. DH got up but Bobi did not want to go out so he left it at it and came back to sleep. As the night shifts are always mine, he did not know that if Bobi does not want to go out it does not necessarily mean that she does not have to go potty. Because she had to. So she immediately peed on her own bed. I finally decided to get up, I wanted anyway to clean the floor with disinfectant. And then I noticed that Bobi peed also on Cimbi's bed and that there was a small poop in front of the bedroom, as well, which I had not noticed before...
This was the point when DH also got up and helped me with the cleaning. The dog bed covers went into the washing machine, the dog beds out to air and sun them, we also sprayed them with Eucalypt oil. We mopped the floor with disinfectant then washed the floor with the steam cleaning machine and then again with the hot water carpet cleaning machine. The cleaning supervisor is Cimbi, because he does not come back in the house until there is the tiniest smell, so we really have to be very thorough.
The good thing is that this accident helped me in deciding that we will replace the traditional old parquet in the study with floor boards. Everbody who tried to clean poop from the cracks between the parquet boards with a toothpick at the wee hour of 3 a.m. will understand my decision, lol

Cimbit ismét elhívták a kutyaiskolába egy másik kutyához terápiás foglalkozásra és ezúttal Bóbit is vittük. Ez volt Bóbi az első látogatása az iskolában, ahol jónéhány másik kutyussal találkozott. Elsőre a szokásos Bóbi módszerrel mindent alaposan megfigyelt, aztán akcióba lendült és játszani hívta a többieket. Azért nem votl az igazi, mert Cimbi nagyon féltette a kisbarátnőjét és nehezen viselte, hogy neki dolgozni kell menni és Bóbi nincs mellette...
Aztán hozzáteszem másnap már ment rendesen oviba, ahol jelesre elsajátította az aznapi tananyagot, nevezetesen a pacsálást ... Ezt otthon is szorgosan gyakorolja, mert nagyon meleg van :))
Az autózást nem nagyon szereti, nagyobb távokra nem is megyünk még, mert menetrendszerűen nemhogy bepisil, de bekakil ...

Cimbi was invited again to the dog school, to a theraphy session to help another dog to overcome her dog aggression. We took Bobi along. This was her first visit at the dog school where she met several other doggies. At first Bobi sat down and watched - this is her typical way of taking in the world - then she got into action and invited the other dogs to play. But it was not a pure fun because Cimbi was stressed as he had to go to work and leave his baby girl friend behind, among other doggies. He often came to the fence as Bobi was waiting for him there.
The following day Bobi returned to the dog kindergarten, this time for a normal training session, where she excelled in the daily learning material - wallowing in the pool. She does practice diligently it at home too because the weather is pretty warm:))
Bobi does not like travelling in the car and we don't take her for longer trips also because she always goes potty in the car ...
